ABOUT ME
With a B.S degree in Apparel Design and Development and a Minor in Art from The University of Wisconsin-Stout, I have a well rounded background in both Creative Design and Technical Design. I always knew I wanted to study Fashion and play Volleyball, and that is how I came across UW-Stout. For 4 years I was sewing hems on buses going to away games, and sketching my final design projects in bleachers. I have always been a visionary from a young age and dreamt of working in the fashion industry since I was 6, so I had to make both dreams happen. I have a diverse level of experience as I have worked as a buyer, designer, and founder of my own small business. In my designer roles, I worked as a technical designer and creative designer, so I adapt and can handle both. I thoroughly enjoy the design process from start to finish and love to see my vision come to life.
As a designer, I would describe myself as a personable, visionary, and creative individual. I am open, collaborative, and innovative when working on projects. I can see the big picture and imagine what I am working on come to life. If you would like to collaborate in any way, please feel free to reach out!
Recommendations “Becky has a distinct eye for trends, knows how to introduce new styles, color-ways, and prints. Every season, the collections were deeper skus and more innovative than the previous. It was always so exciting to unveil the new lines and I also loved working closely on the photoshoots and IG lives with Becky. What I remember most is she was always positive and upbeat, detail oriented, and was a pleasure overall to work with. She is an amazing designer and I think the world of her! Anyone lucky to work alongside Becky or for her is very fortunate.”- Patty Hernandez”
